RIDOH Closes Camp Fuller YMCA Over Water Quality Concerns
The Rhode Island Department of Health has recommended closing the swimming area at Camp Fuller YMCA after assessing water quality concerns. RIDOH will keep reviewing water conditions at swimming areas statewide through Labor Day weekend to ensure swimmer safety.
South County Health Bolsters Cancer Center Staff Following Resignations
Following the resignation of several hematology oncology providers due to funding issues, South County Health in Washington County has announced the hiring of three new hematology oncologists. The new doctors will start between September 18 and October 14, maintaining uninterrupted patient care. Some of the resigning staff will remain until mid-October, and none have relinquished their medical privileges.
