South Kingstown Town Council Approves Nichole Romane as New Town Clerk
Nichole Romane has been unanimously appointed as the new town clerk of South Kingstown by the Town Council. Town Manager James Manni recommended Romane, citing her impressive performance during a period when the current town clerk, Susan Flynn, was absent. Romane has served as the deputy town clerk for over two years and previously held a similar role in California. Her appointment will take effect on August 5. Flynn, who has served the town for 32 years, will retire on August 2.
