South Kingstown Secures $325,000 in Learn365RI Grants for Extended Learning
The Rhode Island Department of Education, under Governor Dan McKee's administration, has awarded $3.8 million in Learn365RI grants to 29 municipalities, including South Kingstown, which received $325,000. These grants are part of a broader strategy to improve educational outcomes beyond the traditional school day by focusing on key metrics such as attendance, FAFSA completion, and proficiency in math and English. The Learn365RI program promotes partnerships between various community stakeholders to create enriching learning environments for students year-round.
