Nighttime Construction to Affect Newport Pell Bridge Traffic on April 30th

On the night of April 30th, the Newport Pell Bridge will undergo construction work for the installation of a new gantry at the Jamestown approach. The work, scheduled between 10 PM and 3 AM, will involve periodic rolling traffic stoppages.

School Bond Community Forum May 1st

South Kingstown and Narragansett High Schools Shine in State Rankings

U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2024 rankings for public high schools in the United States, including evaluations at the national and state levels. While no Rhode Island schools made the national top 100, South Kingstown High School and Narragansett High School were recognized among the top ten in Rhode Island. The rankings considered several factors such as college readiness and state assessment performances.
