Arboreal Solutions LLC

A testament to respect for both clients and the trees they love, Arboreal Solutions LLC is a unique woman-owned business making a true difference in the South Kingstown area. The fully licensed and insured tree care company, with its heart deeply rooted in Rhode Island, meets all tree care needs with passion and professionalism—traits that mark them out distinctly in their industry.

Arboreal Solutions was founded by Regina Costa, an impressive woman with a background as diverse as the trees she caters to. A Mechanical Engineer graduate and MBA holder from the University of Rhode Island, Costa's previous experiences in construction and technical sales served as a springboard into the tree care industry. Her foray began in 2014, when she was involved in rope and tree tool sales while working for Teufelberger Fiber Rope. The seed was thus sown, and in 2022, Costa registered Arboreal Solutions LLC, channeling her love for trees into a venture that provides unintimidating consulting services with the utmost care for your beloved trees.

Regina Costa with her family

The uniqueness of Arboreal Solutions lies in its approach to tree care as more than a service, but trust-building. The team is not just passionate about tree care but wholly comprehend the crucial role trees play in our environment. They are skilled in all areas of tree maintenance, from trimming and removal to disease diagnosis, even the repair of storm-related damages.

More than that, they aim to create an experience that respects and honors the dignity of trees, these magnificent living beings coloring our landscapes. In just one year of operation, Arboreal Solutions has expanded its services to cultivate a culture of trust and exceed expectations in all aspects of tree care.

But the company’s commitment to the community extends beyond the canopies of the trees it serves. Arboreal Solutions stands as a proud sponsor and active volunteer for the local Narragansett Guard and a sponsor for the Narragansett Basketball Team and Butler Basketball Team.

With future plans tailored to continue serving their community — including a nature event at the SK Nature Center on April 27th — Arboreal Solutions is indeed a local business worthy of the spotlight.

Narragansett Seeks State Approval for Three-Hour Seawall Parking Limit

The Town of Narragansett is considering a three-hour parking limit at the seawall to address growing congestion in the oceanfront area. The proposal is part of a broader effort to manage parking in the town, which has seen increased tourist activity.
The change requires approval from the State Traffic Commission, as Ocean Road is a state road. The delay in the decision has led to frustration among town officials and residents. Some residents support the limit for promoting turnover and supporting local businesses, while others worry about the impact on leisure activities and the potential for increased parking fines.

Vehicle Theft in Narragansett Prompts Police Reminder to Lock Cars

The Narragansett Police Department is raising awareness among residents to ensure their vehicles are locked at night, following a recent incident where an unlocked vehicle with the keys inside was stolen. The police are emphasizing the importance of vehicle security and are encouraging the community to report any suspicious behavior by calling 911. This advisory comes as neighboring towns have also experienced vehicle thefts.

Rare Tick-Borne Powassan Virus Confirmed in Rhode Island Resident

The Rhode Island Department of Health has reported a rare instance of Powassan virus disease in a resident of Kent County. The infection, which occurred in January, is part of a recent uptick in cases in the Northeast and Great Lakes regions.
Powassan virus can lead to severe neurological symptoms and often requires hospitalization.
As there is no vaccine or treatment, the health department emphasizes the importance of tick prevention strategies, including avoiding high-risk areas, wearing protective clothing, using bug spray with DEET, and staying vigilant for ticks on clothing.
