Mark Your Calendars: South Kingstown Presidential Primary Set for April 2nd

The town of South Kingstown is gearing up for the Presidential Preference Primary Election on Tuesday, April 2nd.
Polling stations will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM at South Kingstown High School Cafeteria, West Kingston Elementary School, and Matunuck Elementary School, covering all voting districts.
Residents are required to present identification to vote.
Those wishing to vote by mail must submit their applications by 4 PM on March 12th.
Early voting will be available at the Town Hall Communications Garage from March 13th to April 1st, weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

DEM to Host Public Workshop on Proposed Fishing and Hunting Regulations

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (DEM) has announced a public workshop scheduled for March 12 at 5:30 PM at the Cranston Central Library.
The workshop will address proposed regulations for the 2025-26 freshwater fishing season and the 2024-25 and 2025-26 hunting and trapping seasons. The purpose of the workshop is to present the regulatory proposals under consideration and to provide an opportunity for public feedback. Attendees will have the chance to interact with staff from DEM's Division of Fish and Wildlife. No recording or written testimony will be available. An official public hearing on the proposed regulations is planned for May, with details to be announced later.

Final Tammi Reiss Coaches Show Set for Thursday at The Mews Tavern

This Thursday marks the season's last Tammi Reiss Coaches Show, scheduled for 6 p.m. at The Mews Tavern in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Attendees can expect insights from Coach Reiss, senior Tenin Magassa, and Graduate Assistant Coach Emma Squires. Zach Austin will host the event. For fans unable to join in person, the show will be streamed live on The Varsity Network and the rhody.leanplayer.com website.
