Men’s Basketball
In a tight contest, Rhode Island managed to edge out La Salle with a 71-69 win, ending their losing streak and evening their conference play record. Key free throws and a strong performance from the bench, particularly by Tyson Brown, were critical to securing the victory.

The Men’s next game will be Home against Duquesne on Saturday, February 3rd at 12:30 PM. This game will be on USA.

Women’s Basketball
After a sluggish start and trailing in the first quarter, the Rhode Island Rams rallied back against George Washington, with a strong second quarter and a dominant third quarter, leading to a 66-52 victory. The win was characterized by a significant turnaround in the second half, despite initial turnovers and a tied halftime score.

The next Women’s game will be away against Duquesne on Saturday, February 3rd at 2 PM. This game will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Rebels Boys Basketball next game will be away against Toll Gate on Thursday, February 1st at 7 PM
