South Kingstown WWTF Superintendent Receives EPA Regional Award

The EPA's New England Office recognized Rhode Island wastewater facilities and individuals, including Kathy Perez of the South Kingstown WWTF. She was honored with the 2023 EPA Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator of the Year Award, making her one of only seven recipients across New England. Her recognition comes as a testament to her outstanding work in operating and maintaining the South Kingstown facility. The awards highlight the importance of wastewater treatment in environmental and public health protection.
