Christmas Tree recycling in South Kingstown

Matunuck Troop 44 is organizing their first Christmas Tree RecyclingDay on January 13, 2024, exclusively for local residents. This environmentally conscious event allows residents to register online for the collection of their Christmas trees, which will then be repurposed as mulch or goat feed.
The service is open to all residential areas, including apartments and condos, and emphasizes coordination with property managers to ensure an efficient process.
While the tree collection service is free, a suggested donation of $20 supports the Troop's summer camp and activities. The initiative represents a commitment to environmental responsibility and community engagement.
