Blooming for 30 Years: Flowerthyme Floral Studio
Tucked away on 135 Main Street in Wakefield is Flowerthyme Floral Studio, a floral shop that has been brightening South County with its vibrant arrangements for over 30 years. Owner Joy Rich first opened the doors of her cheery floral studio in June of 1993 after graduating from URI with degrees in plant science and business. Three decades later, Joy and her talented team of floral designers continue to be the go-to florist for floral deliveries, funeral arrangements, romantic weddings, and special events across Rhode Island.
Flowerthyme sets itself apart through its exceptional customer service and ability to bring any floral vision to life. The shop has a long history of giving back to the local community, whether by providing flowers to beautify church altars, hiring high school interns to teach the craft of floral design, or donating arrangements to various fundraisers and nonprofits. They actively participate in local celebrations as a way to connect with customers and spread cheer.
Even after 30 years, Joy still looks forward to continuing Flowerthyme's legacy by playing a special part in the meaningful occasions of customers for years to come. Brides can continue to count on Flowerthyme's team of devoted floral artists to create picture-perfect wedding flowers for their big day.
To learn more about Flowerthyme Floral Studio and see examples of their breathtaking floral work, visit their website at www.flowerthyme.com or follow them on Facebook and Instagram. Joy and her team look forward to continuing to bloom and grow within the South Kingstown community for years to come!
