Picture This Framing & Gallery

Tucked away in the Quo Vadis Center in Wakefield, Picture This Framing & Gallery has been expertly designing custom frames and curating local art since 1997. Originally opened by Craig Berry, Picture This was passed down to his niece Ashley in 2016, who was eager to carry on the family legacy.

With Ashley’s lifelong passion for art and mentorship from her uncle, Picture This upholds exceptional creative standards. Their certified staff, degreed in fine arts, provides elegant framing solutions. Beyond framing, Picture This shines a spotlight on Ocean State artists in their gallery featuring paintings, photography, and more.

Picture This sets itself apart through its seasoned team of Rhode Island natives. Ashley, Tina, and Donna bring decades of combined experience from framing shops, galleries, and museums. Their personal care and attention to detail reward customers with framing that perfectly suits the art or object.

In addition to operating the shop, Picture This gives back by sponsoring local schools and nonprofits. They showcase works by Rhode Island authors, artists, and designers. As a community fixture, Picture This supports the area’s creative spirit.

Upcoming plans include renovating their space to accommodate larger custom projects. Picture This also aims to host small art workshops throughout the year. Though the business has evolved, its connections and commitment to the community remain.

For museum-quality framing or a piece of local art, visit Picture This Framing & Gallery at 552 Kingstown Rd, Wakefield, RI 02879, call 401-789-6200, or find them online at https://picturethisgalleries.com/. Their passion for creative preservation is evident in every frame.

RAMS

Rhode Island's Men’s basketball team faces Wagner, marking only their second encounter, with Wagner having won the first meeting. Rhode Island's offense has been explosive, scoring the most points in their season start since 2016-17, led by Jaden House's impressive shooting efficiency. Game starts at 7PM today.

The University of Rhode Island Rams Women’s basketball team faces the University of Maine Black Bears in a tie-breaking game, part of a rivalry dating back to the '70s. Rhode Island has dominated recent matchups and started the season strong with two home victories. The team's success has been partly due to the standout performances of senior Mayé Touré and guard Teisha Hyman, as well as a solid partnership in the paint between Touré and Tenin Magassa.
