Roadwork Continues in Narragansett

Drainage Improvements in Envine Estates and Road Construction on Wheatfield Cove Rd and Mumford Rd will continue on Monday, October 23rd.

Flaggers will be onsite to help coordinate traffic.

South Kingstown Celebrates 300th Anniversary with Unveiling of 'Ostara' Sculpture

A 15-foot sculpture named "Ostara," designed by artist Peter Diepenbrock, will be revealed in Peace Dale Village Green, Wakefield, on Oct. 25 at 4:30 p.m. to commemorate South Kingstown's 300th anniversary.

The unveiling will feature speeches by local leaders and officials, performances by the Yootay Singers and The Naticks Band, a storytelling session, and the artist sharing his inspiration.

UAlbany Dominates Rhode Island 35-10; Rhody Faces New Hampshire Next

Rhode Island lost 35-10 to UAlbany, marking their second consecutive defeat. UAlbany secured a solid lead with 28 points in the first half, with key contributions from Griffen Woodell, Reese Poffenbarger, and Julian Hicks.

Rhode Island's standout moments included Kahtero Summers' eight receptions for 92 yards and A.J. Pena's interception.

UAlbany dominated in both rushing and passing. Rhode Island faces New Hampshire at Meade Stadium on Oct. 28 at 1:05 p.m.

Rhode Island Secures Second Scoreless Draw of the Week Against Loyola Chicago

Rhode Island and Loyola Chicago end in a scoreless draw at the URI Soccer Complex, marking Rhode Island's second 0-0 result this week and fifth of the season.

Both teams' goalkeepers showcased impressive performances, with URI's Edu Rodriguez securing his sixth shutout of the season.
