Kingston's Compass School in the Running for $10K Outdoor Classroom Prize

Project Green Schools has announced its finalists for the 2024 Outdoor Classroom Challenge, and The Compass School from Kingston stands as a contender.
The challenge recognizes and funds schools aiming to extend educational environments into nature.
With a grand prize of $10,000, the competition underlines the increasing importance of outdoor learning for student well-being and academic success.
All finalists will be honored at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., with the winners revealed on March 29th.

Narragansett's Rabies Clinic Offers $10 Vaccines for Local Pets

A Rabies Clinic will take place in Narragansett, offering an affordable opportunity for pet owners to vaccinate their cats, dogs, and ferrets against rabies. The clinic is scheduled for Sunday, March 24, from 9 am to 11 am at the Narragansett Community Center.
Owners are requested to bring any previous vaccination documents for their pets to the clinic.
The fee for vaccination is set at $10, cash only, making it an accessible option for pet healthcare.
